Compass & Cavern, Teresa Suydam, McKnight

May 27 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Compass & Cavern – Long-time friendship between Will Timbers and Chris Fruci disguised as an alternative rock band from Denver. Will & Chris have been writing and performing music together for over a decade. C&C is their current musical outlet for sharing deep thoughts, reflections, wild dreams, frustrations, strange stories, and more. The band’s sound is characterized by massive synths, riffing guitars, dynamic drums, vocal harmonies, and the occasional, but always appropriate, shaker.

Teresa Suydam – A lost bird cross-culture artist who makes explorative pop with cinematic tendencies infused with honey-like vocals. Teresa Suydam is a non-binary songwriter and producer based out of Denver, CO who chases their own culture and identity with their music. Being of Indigenous and Filipino descent, Teresa is a safe haven to other multicultural individuals who don’t feel at home in their own skin. They present a kaleidoscopic range of sounds and bold colors to paint their own unique rainbow in the music realm. Recently, Teresa Suydam’s music video for Take Me to the Water was nominated for the Native American Music Awards.

McKnight – Grass roots acoustic rock band from Denver Colorado where the band was formed. McKnight recorded an album during the pandemic and signed a publishing deal after the release of two single releases from the album. One of the singles (I Was Better) was debuted on KTCO 93.3 as a top ten for the Colorado Band competition Hometown For The Holidays. The band relies on a big sound with horns and stomp acoustic rock. McKnight will continue writing songs with similar punch with the hopes of releasing a full album in 2023.

Writing personal to impersonal songs that bring awareness to the beauty and tragedy of the human experience. The band holds close to their influences in Rock n roll and punk music but destroy the notion that a band should stick to one genre.

Leveler – American Metalcore band hailing from the Majestic Rockies of Colorado! Formed by guitarists Kyle Augustin, Emanuel Pilas, and drummer Kyle Burklow in Early 2017, LEVELER was born! Known for energetic live shows with excellent showmanship, LEVELER is carving out their place amongst the modern metal genre. The band has released two studio albums to date; their latest, Ad Infinitum (2021) has set the bar for today’s new evolved metalcore sound!

Bone Creature – Denver based metal band that combines elements of thrash and melodic death metal. Formed in 2019, the group consists of vocalist/guitarist Jesse Thomas, vocalist/guitarist Nicholas Teeter, bassist Danny McNeely, and drummer Michael Hand. Their first album, Bone•Jour, is out on all major streaming platforms and they are currently writing their second album. They absolutely adore long, lonely walks on the beach while simultaneously crying to “Levelers Greatest Hits” which is their direct and greatest influence

Shadows of Eden – New band from Broomfield, Colorado, making waves in the music industry. Strong will and determination pushed Shadows of Eden forward, but raw talent has kept these young musicians strong and alive. Shadows of Eden prides themselves on a beautiful, versatile sound and broad fanbase, and takes their listeners on a compelling journey of thoughts and emotions with every release

People In General – Fort Collins indie poppers are aptly named for the theme of their upcoming single “icicic.” Seeking universality in songwriting is usually a great idea. If lightning strikes and the writer finds a deeply human moment experienced by not just one demographic, but, well, people in general, that sentiment can make for a great tune.

Tiny Humans – High energy 3 piece band out of Denver with a mix of emo, garage rock, punk and grunge. Tiny Humans consists of Chris Mercer on guitar and vocals, Dave Wolfkowski on bass and Zack Noe on drums. Formed in 2020 over the pandemic, after Chris broke up their previous band Sliver. Dave also plays in a band called Swindlin Hearts and Zack use to play in a band called Alter Girls.
