Rent

April 4, 2024 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

This iconic, Pulitzer Prize-winning show re-defined what a musical could be and became the anthem of a generation. Yet it is still as poignant, timely, and life-affirming as it was when it was first produced.

At the height of the AIDS crisis, a group of modern-day bohemians struggles to survive on the Lower East Side of New York City. The terrifying disease is everywhere, touching the lives of Roger, Mimi, Tom, Angel, Mark, Maureen, Joanne, and Benny in different ways. In the face of uncertainty, fear, and death, these friends find ways to love each other, and to love life.

This production is performed by our adult community theatre troupe, the Arts Hub Players. Is is approximately 2.5 hours long, including intermission. This production is rated PG-13.

Fee: $15 – $28

Sweeney Todd

April 4, 2024 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Attend this terrifying tale of murder, mayhem and meat pies, brought to you in a special collaboration between The Arts Hub and Tracy Warren, of Boulder Dinner Theatre fame.

Sweeney Todd has returned to London, after serving a sentence for a crime he did not commit, only to find his family destroyed by the man who framed him. Determined to take his revenge on a society that abandoned and betrayed him, Todd returns to his old barber shop, which happens to be above the failing pie shop of his old landlady, Mrs. Lovett. The two of them quickly discover that they can help each other – Mr. Todd can provide Mrs. Lovett with a certain crucial ingredient for her meat pies, and Mrs. Lovett can ensure that Mr. Todd’s murderous rampage will never be discovered. London will never be the same.

This production is performed by our adult community theatre troupe, the Arts Hub Players. Is is approximately 2.5 hours long, including intermission. This production is rated R, and no children’s tickets are available for purchase.

Final Confluence Show w/ Mr. Knobs, The Cowards, and Krash & The Bandahoots

April 4, 2024 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

This is the final show of Tier Two Live at the Confluence Garage for the foreseeable future. We’re going to be taking some time off after this show to retool things a bit. We’re inviting some of our favorite bands we’ve ever worked with to come party with us. Let’s blow the roof off this place!

Mr. Knobs – They call themselves “metal Abba,” but we think they’re waaaay more than that. Operatic vocals (Vidushi). Incredibly tight drumming and beautiful trumpet (Steve Lamos of American Football). Electronic synth energy. And for the first time at the Confluence Garage, soaring violin (Sarah Hubbard of the Flobots). DO NOT MISS THIS SET!!!

The Cowards – Surf rock. Witty banter. A few laughs. Guitar/bass/drum solos. This will be the sixth show these gents out of Greeley have played with us. There’s a darn good reason we keep asking them back.

Krash and the Bandahoots – Psych Rock. This trio pays homage to the ancestral and lineage legacy of musicians, from whom all players have benefited. We strive to make the offerings of the muses and our deepest aspirations audible to our audience. Our style draws influences from the Romantic and Impressionistic eras of classical music, as well as Hindustani classical and psychedelic rock. The true essence of our message is best experienced through your ears!

Americana Night w/ Mercy Club, Jack Campbell & The Headmess, Lowfive

April 4, 2024 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Mercy Club – Lafayette’s own Mercy Club: bangin’ folk rock, soaring harmonies and a stellar ensemble cast.

Jack Campbell & The Headmess – Based in Colorado, Jack Campbell & the Head Mess draws on the Minneapolis punk rock tradition of stuffing catchy pop earworms into a gritty garage rock package. Led by singer-songwriter Jack Campbell, the band has been bringing a decade’s worth of tunes about relationships and mental health to life, with the help of screamin’ sax solos and grungey basslines.

Lowfive – Five-piece band blending rock, folk, and roots influences to create their own brand of Colorado Americana. Their debut self-titled EP, released April 28 2023, showcases the diverse musicianship of the and and the evolution of their folk songwriting into stage-shaking rock and roll. Lowfive’s multi-part vocals, hot guitar licks, and personal lyrics about love, loss, and living in beautiful CO are evident in both their recordings and live shows.

All Ages!! $10 suggested donation at the door.
